Open Bayes and Ipython1

Posted by fccoelho at October 30. 2006
Hi everybody,

After out skype meeting , I have been thinking about some thigs. I have already figured out how to do the "Bayesian network generator" from general edges list. I should be passing a first version around for you to comment probably next week (2-3 of november are hollidays in Brasil). I'll generate some test cases for processing NetworkX graph objects, epigrass networks, and general lists of edges.

One Other topic I was thinking about has to do with paralelization and Ipithon1:

I am looking into Ipython1 for some other projecs of mine and I'll keep an eye open for possible applications to Open Bayes.
I can't promisse much more than this, but I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Cheers,

Flávio

Flavio,

Great news about the network generator. I think parallelizing things would be a great idea, especially given the ease with which people can setup a grid these days. Unfortuneately i have not had any movement on my own stuff following the meeting because my computer died aaahhhh! I have spent the last couple of days working on it (with no luck), but hopefully i will have something soon.
