Extending OpenBayes

Posted by obadmin at November 07. 2006
Hi Kosta,

just a suggestion:
post a UML Diagram laying out the blueprint for the Important classes such as Distributions, for instance.

I was looking into the distributions module, and got a little confused by the many "TODOs". It was hard to figure out what were the essential methods and attributes and what were optional but desirable.

No hurry here, but that would make it easier the task of extending OB.

cheers,

Good idea. This would also help people understand the structure of OB and maybe (hopefully) participate easier to the project.

Do you have any ideas about a program producing UML diagrams out of code?

Hi Kosta,

Spe (Stani's Python editor) does it but it does not export it in editable format...
Unfortunately this forum does not allow one to post images. I'll try to post them to my folder in this site.

For Editing you could use Umbrello, or argoUML...

Umbrello also tries to create UML from code but it leaves a lot of stuff out...
